MEME Creative (the "Operator") operates "Silmary" (the "Service"), a workflow service for producing long-form AI video, and processes users' personal information as set out below in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea.
1. Personal Information Collected and Purposes
| Item | When collected | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google account email, name and account identifier | When signing in with Google | Identifying users, keeping users signed in, managing AI passes |
| Access date and time, number of visits | When using the Service | Operating the Service and preventing misuse |
| AI feature run records (run date and time, model used, manuscript character count, processing volume) | When AI manuscript import is run | Deducting AI passes, calculating costs, responding to errors |
The Service does not store the project data users create (stories, characters, cuts, lines, etc.) on the Operator's servers. Project data is stored in the user's own Google Drive.
2. Use of Google User Data
Together with Google sign-in, the Service requests the following permissions.
- Basic profile (email, name): Used to identify the user.
- Google Drive file access (drive.file): The Service reads and writes only the "실마리" (Silmary) folder it has created in the user's Drive and the files inside that folder. It cannot access any other files the user has in Drive.
Information received through Google APIs is not used for any purpose other than those stated above, is not used for advertising, and is not sold to third parties. The Service's use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
3. Entrustment of Processing and Provision to Third Parties
To provide the Service, the Operator entrusts processing to the following companies.
| Entrusted party | Entrusted work |
|---|---|
| Google LLC | Sign-in authentication; storage of project data (in the user's own Google Drive) |
| Anthropic, PBC | Analysis of the manuscript text entered by the user when AI manuscript import is run |
| Cafe24 Corp. | Hosting of the Service's servers |
When AI manuscript import is run, the manuscript text entered by the user is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. The Operator does not store manuscript text on its servers, and run records keep only the character count and processing volume. Other than in response to a request made in accordance with law, the Operator does not provide personal information to third parties.
Connecting AI apps (connectors)
When you connect Silmary to an external AI app such as Claude as a connector (MCP), a copy of your works (works, episodes, parts, cuts and lines, character and place sheets with their reference-image previews, ledgers and checks, greybox stagings) is kept on the operator's server so that the app can read and change it. The copy is refreshed every time you save in the Silmary web app, and what the app changes is saved back to your Google Drive. The operator neither receives nor stores your conversations with that app; only a log of tool calls (which tool, when, which work id) is kept. You can disconnect at any time from Silmary home › "Connect Claude", which revokes the app's access tokens. The copy is deleted together with the work or your account. How the external app (for example Anthropic's Claude) handles that data is governed by that app's own privacy policy.
4. Retention Period
- Account information and usage records: until the user withdraws from the Service (requests deletion). On receiving a withdrawal request, the Operator deletes them without delay.
- AI pass payment records (once a payment feature is introduced): 5 years, in accordance with the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. of Korea.
Project data stored in Google Drive is managed by the user and remains in the user's Drive even after the user withdraws from the Service. The user deletes it directly in Drive.
5. Users' Rights
Users may at any time request access to, correction or deletion of, or suspension of the processing of their personal information. Please send requests to the contact below. Users can also revoke Silmary's access directly under "Third-party apps & services" in their Google Account settings.
6. Security Measures
Sign-in tokens are not stored on the server, and API keys and database connection details are kept in a location that cannot be accessed from the web. Communication with the Service is encrypted with HTTPS.
